     John de Havilland Utermarck held the office of Bailiff of Guernsey.¹

     Anne Douglas Utermarck was the daughter of John de Havilland Utermarck.² She married, firstly, Captain William Bothwell Potter before 1883.² She married, secondly, James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten, son of Edmund Chisholm-Batten and Jemima Chisholm, on 9 August 1883.¹ She died on 1 December 1917.²
     From before 1883, her married name became Potter.² From 9 August 1883, her married name became Chisholm-Batten.¹

     Lieutenant James Utermarck Chisholm-Batten was born on 29 May 1884.¹ He was the son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck.² He died on 30 September 1915 at age 31, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Dorset Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Harry Copeland Chisholm-Batten was born on 21 October 1885.¹ He was the son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck.² He died in 1886.¹

     Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten was born on 10 May 1887.¹ He was the son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck.² He married Winifred Mary Cain, daughter of Ernest Harry Cain and Ada Eleanor Newman, in 1920.¹
     He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹ He was Lord of the Manor of Thornfalcon.¹ He lived at Court House, Thornfalcon, Somerset, England^G.¹ He lived at Aigas Forest, Strathglass, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.¹ In 1935 he inherited the Chisholm estates from his cousin Anne Margaret. He sold them and Erchless Castle in 1937.¹

     Ernest Harry Cain was born in 1867 at St. Ives, Cornwall, England.² He married Ada Eleanor Newman in 1892 at Staines, London, England.² He died in 1938.²
     He lived at Chobham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Winifred Mary Cain was born on 9 March 1893.² She was the daughter of Ernest Harry Cain and Ada Eleanor Newman.^3,2 She married Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten, son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck, in 1920.¹ She died in 1943.²
     From 1920, her married name became Chisholm-Batten.¹

     Walter Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten was born on 25 July 1923.¹ He is the son of Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten and Winifred Mary Cain.² He married, firstly, Jean Elizabeth Taberman, daughter of Captain George Henry Taberman, on 20 December 1946.¹ He and Jean Elizabeth Taberman were divorced in 1968.² He married, secondly, Shirley Elizabeth Innes Rycroft, daughter of Norman Dyson Innes Rycroft, on 2 November 1968.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)² He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 24 Ball Road, Pewsey, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Captain George Henry Taberman lived at Harrow on the Hill, London, England^G.¹

     Jean Elizabeth Taberman is the daughter of Captain George Henry Taberman.² She married Walter Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten, son of Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten and Winifred Mary Cain, on 20 December 1946.¹ She and Walter Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten were divorced in 1968.²
     From 20 December 1946, her married name became Chisholm-Batten.²
