He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Chichester, of Raleigh, co. Devon [E., 1641] in 1667.1 He matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 8 May 1675.3 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1679.3 His last will was dated 6 September 1680.

Devon [E., 1641] circa September 1680.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1685 and 1687.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple from 1689 to 1690.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1713 and 1718.2 He lived at Youlston, Devon, EnglandG.2
