     From 16 March 1726/27, her married name became Shelley.

     Sir John Shelley, 4th Bt. was born on 5 March 1691/92.² He was the son of Sir John Shelley, 3rd Bt. and Mary Gage.² He married, firstly, Katherine Scawen, daughter of Sir Thomas Scawen, on 21 May 1717.² He married, secondly, Hon. Margaret Pelham, daughter of Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton and Lady Grace Holles, on 16 March 1726/27.¹ He died on 6 September 1771 at age 79.²
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shelley, of Michelgrove [E., 1611] on 25 April 1703.¹
