     Elizabeth Rosemary Hopton is the daughter of John Gordon Hopton.2 She married Terence Kearley, 3rd Viscount Devonport, son of Gerald Chester Kearley, 2nd Viscount Devonport and Sheila Isabel Hope-Murray, on 7 December 1968.1 She and Terence Kearley, 3rd Viscount Devonport were divorced in 1979.1
     From 7 December 1968, her married name became Kearley.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Rosemary Hopton was styled as Viscountess Devonport on 29 March 1973.
