     Joan Engaine was the daughter of Sir John Engaine and Joan de Greinville.2 She married Adam de Welle, 1st Lord Welles, son of Robert de Welle and Isabel de Periton, before 1296.1 She married, firstly, Walter FitzWalter, son of Robert fitz Walter, 1st Lord FitzWalter and Devorguilla de Burgh, in 1286.3 She died on 1 June 1315.2
     From 1286, her married name became FitzWalter.

     Nicholas de Cauntelou was born before 1342.1 He was the son of Sir William de Cauntelou, 4th Lord Cauntelo and Joan de Welle.1 He married Katherine (?)1 He died from 21 February 1370/71 to 22 February 1370/71 at Avignon, FranceG, without issue.2
     In 1362 he inherited Greasley, Ilkeston, and Claydon.2

     Sir William de Cauntelou was born before 1344.1 He was the son of Sir William de Cauntelou, 4th Lord Cauntelo and Joan de Welle.1 He married Maud Neville, daughter of Sir Philip Neville.1 He died before 30 November 1381 at Scotton, EnglandG, murdered, without issue.1,2
     In 1362 he inherited Ravensthorpe, Yorkshire.1

     Maud Neville is the daughter of Sir Philip Neville.2 She married, firstly, Sir William de Cauntelou, son of Sir William de Cauntelou, 4th Lord Cauntelo and Joan de Welle.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas de Kydale circa 24 October 1379.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John Bussy circa 27 October 1382.3
     Her married name became de Cauntelou.1 In 1375 she was indicted for her husband’s murder with many others, but acquitted.2 From circa 24 October 1379, her married name became Kydale.1 From circa 27 October 1382, her married name became Bussy.3
