Jean Cherry Drummond, 11th of Megginch, Baroness Strange usually went by her middle name of Cherry.1 She graduated from St. Andrew’s University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, in 1951 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 She wrote the book Love from Belinda, published 1960.1 She wrote the book Lalage in Love, published 1962.1 She was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as Lord Lyon decree, and matriculated her arms at the Lyons Court Lord Lyon decree on 14 March 1966.1 She wrote the book Creatures Great and Small, published 1968.1 She succeeded as the 16th Baroness Strange [E., 1628] in 1986, when the title came out of abeyance.1 She held the position of Chief of Drummond of Concraig and Lennoch within the Clan Drummond from in 1986.1 She was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries, Scotland (F.S.A.Scot.) in 1988.1 She wrote the book Love is for Ever, published 1988.1 She wrote the book The Remarkable Life of Victoria Drummond Marine Engineer, published 1994.1 She was appointed Representative Peer in 1999.1
