     William Cave-Browne-Cave was born on 26 October 1831 at Stratton-en-le Field, Leicestershire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Cave-Browne-Cave and Anne Walker.3 He married, firstly, unknown wife (?) in 1853.1 He married, secondly, Maria Thornicroft, daughter of John Thornicroft, on 1 August 1877.1 He died on 20 April 1907 at age 75.1
     He was a corn merchant.2 He lived in 1881 at Wellington Road, Harborne, Staffordshire, EnglandG.2 He lived at Wellington Lodge, Harborne, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1
