     Brig.-Gen. Burleigh Francis Brownlow Stuart was born on 1 November 1868.¹ He was the son of Burleigh William Henry Fitzgibbon Stuart and Susan Mary Briscoe.² He married Evelyn Margaret Clarke, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Edward Henry St. Lawrence Clarke, 4th Bt., on 26 January 1916.¹ He died on 8 March 1952 at age 83.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in the 3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1915.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir Edward Henry St. Lawrence Clarke, 4th Bt. is the son of Reverend John William Clarke.
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Rossmore, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the title of 4th Baronet Clarke [U.K., 1804]. He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹

     Evelyn Margaret Clarke was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Edward Henry St. Lawrence Clarke, 4th Bt.² She married Brig.-Gen. Burleigh Francis Brownlow Stuart, son of Burleigh William Henry Fitzgibbon Stuart and Susan Mary Briscoe, on 26 January 1916.¹ She died on 4 May 1970.¹
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Colonel John William Brownlow Stuart was born on 30 May 1917.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Burleigh Francis Brownlow Stuart and Evelyn Margaret Clarke.² He married Anthea Joan Herman, daughter of Ashley Ernest Herman and Noreen Joan Franks, on 27 February 1954.¹ He died on 17 February 2009 at age 91.³
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1939.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He fought in the Kenyan Campaign between 1956 and 1957.¹ He was Colonel of the 1st Battalion, Worcsestershire Regiment between 1959 and 1961.¹ He lived in 2003 at Corner Cottage, Radford, Inkberrow, Worcestershire, England^G.¹

     Ashley Ernest Herman was born in 1887.² He married Noreen Joan Franks, daughter of Frank William Franks and Caroline Stapleton.² He died in 1957.²
     He lived at Shipton Hall, Hambledon, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Anthea Joan Herman was born in 1928.² She was the daughter of Ashley Ernest Herman and Noreen Joan Franks.^3,2 She married Colonel John William Brownlow Stuart, son of Brig.-Gen. Burleigh Francis Brownlow Stuart and Evelyn Margaret Clarke, on 27 February 1954.¹ She died in 1977.¹
     From 27 February 1954, her married name became Stuart.¹

     Elizabeth Maynial is the daughter of Jean Maynial and Anne Mauger.¹

     Colonel Matthew George Platts was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at The Down Wood, Blandford, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹

     Joan Elizabeth Platts was the daughter of Colonel Matthew George Platts.² She married Burleigh Edward St. Lawrence Stuart, son of Brig.-Gen. Burleigh Francis Brownlow Stuart and Evelyn Margaret Clarke, on 5 March 1952.¹ She died on 29 September 2001.¹
     From 5 March 1952, her married name became Stuart.¹

     Edward John Burleigh Stuart was born on 28 October 1953.¹ He is the son of Burleigh Edward St. Lawrence Stuart and Joan Elizabeth Platts.² He married Alison Anne Steel, daughter of James Steel, in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Cokethorpe School, Witney, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ A horologist.¹ He lived in 2003 at Farriers Barn, Main Road, Curbridge, Witney, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹
