     Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. was born on 16 September 1869 at Cologne, Germany^G.² He was the son of M. S. Cassel and Wilhelmina Cassel.^3,2 He married Lady Helen Grimston, daughter of James Walter Grimston, 3rd Earl of Verulam and Margaret Frances Graham, on 18 November 1908.¹ He died on 22 February 1953 at age 83 at Midhurst, Sussex, England^G.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1894 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in 1906.¹ He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1907 and 1910.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for St. Pancras West between 1910 and 1916.¹ He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn in 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st/19th Battalion, London Regiment.¹ He held the office of Judge Advocate-General between 1916 and 1934.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Cassel [U.K.] on 26 January 1920.¹ He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1937.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1942.¹

     Frederik Maurits Willem Wortman was born on 8 November 1943 at The Netherlands^G.¹ He married, firstly, Valerie Joy Minchin, daughter of Edwin Lloyd Minchin and Ruth Joy Mills, circa 1968 at Lae, Papua New Guinea^G.¹
     Frederik Maurits Willem Wortman also went by the nick-name of Max.¹

     Lachlan Maurits Wortman was born on 23 March 1986.¹ He is the son of Frederik Maurits Willem Wortman.¹

     Sub Lt. Ernest James Cassel was born on 1 September 1909.¹ He is the son of Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. and Lady Helen Grimston.²
     He gained the rank of Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Sub Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ On 3 June 1940 found shot dead.¹

     Sir Francis Edward Cassel, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 May 1912.¹ He was the son of Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. and Lady Helen Grimston.² He died on 17 April 1969 at age 56, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was a concert pianist.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cassel [U.K., 1920] on 22 February 1953.¹

     Sir Harold Felix Cassel, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 November 1916.¹ He was the son of Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. and Lady Helen Grimston.² He married, firstly, Ione Jean Barclay, daughter of Captain Evelyn Hugh Barclay and Phyllis Patty Crossley, on 27 April 1940.¹ He and Ione Jean Barclay were divorced in 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Eileen Elfrida Faulkner, daughter of James Herbert Rider Faulkner, in 1963.¹ He died on 17 September 2001 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1945.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1946 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1959.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Great Yarmouth between 1968 and 1971.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cassel [U.K., 1920] on 17 April 1969.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1970.¹ He held the office of Circuit Court Judge between 1976 and 1988.¹

     Hermione Anna Cassel was born on 9 December 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. and Lady Helen Grimston.² She died on 14 February 1989 at age 78.¹

     Josephine Helen Cassel was born on 8 November 1916.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. and Lady Helen Grimston.² She married Lewis Griffith Cresswell Evans Pugh, son of Lewis Pugh Evans Pugh, on 5 September 1939.¹
     From 5 September 1939, her married name became Pugh. She lived in 2003 at Hatching Green House, Hatching Green, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹
