     He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹

     Frances Voysey married John Brodie-Innes of Milton Brodie, son of Reverend John Brodie-Innes of Milton Brodie and Eliza Laidlaw, in 1879.¹
     From 1879, her married name became Brodie-Innes.¹

     John Stuart Brodie-Innes of Milton Brodie was born on 17 January 1887 at Bedford Park, Chiswick, London, England.^1,2 He was the son of John Brodie-Innes of Milton Brodie and Frances Voysey.¹ He died on 29 September 1915 at age 28 at Loos, Belgium, missing in action.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 1 September 1914 in the Seaforth Highlanders.²

     Gwendolen Mary Brodie-Innes was born on 23 January 1885 at London, England.² She was the daughter of John Brodie-Innes of Milton Brodie and Frances Voysey.¹ She married Percy Strickland.²
     Her married name became Strickland.² She gained the rank of officer in the Womens Royal Naval Service.²

     Catherine Brodie is the daughter of Joseph Brodie of Mentoun and Elizabeth Dunbar.^1,2 She married Sir Patrick Dunbar of Northfield, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Robert Dunbar of Northfield, 2nd Bt. and Mary Sinclair, in 1722.¹
     From 1722, her married name became Dunbar.

     Sir Robert Dunbar of Northfield, 2nd Bt. was the son of John Dunbar, 3rd of Hempriggs and Anne Fraser.² He married Mary Sinclair, daughter of Patrick Sinclair of Ulbster and Elizabeth Mackay, in 1675.¹ He died in 1742.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dunbar, of Northfield [N.S., 1700] in 1711.¹

     Mary Sinclair is the daughter of Patrick Sinclair of Ulbster and Elizabeth Mackay.² She married Sir Robert Dunbar of Northfield, 2nd Bt., son of John Dunbar, 3rd of Hempriggs and Anne Fraser, in 1675.³
     From 1675, her married name became Dunbar.

     Charles Peploe Smith Ensor was born in 1825 at Littlehampton, Sussex, England.¹ He was the son of John Maples Ensor and Mary Ann Webb.¹ He was baptised on 29 July 1825 at St. mary, Littlehampton, Sussex, England.¹ He died on 16 January 1897 at Norfolk, England.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 38th Native Infantry, Madras Army.¹
