     Blanche Catherine Jones-Parry was born circa 1862.¹ She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral John Parry Jones-Parry.² She married Major Henry Charles Carden, son of Sir John Craven Carden, 4th Bt. and Julia Isabella Robinson, in 1881.¹ She died on 26 August 1954.¹
     From 1881, her married name became Carden.

     Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden was born on 23 December 1882.¹ He was the son of Major Henry Charles Carden and Blanche Catherine Jones-Parry.² He married Olive Gorton, daughter of Rev. Canon Charles Vincent Gorton, in November 1913.¹ He died on 30 October 1964 at age 81.¹
     He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England^G, in 1908 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Chaplain of the Forces in 1918 in the in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Lahore between 1929 and 1934.¹ He held the office of Hon. Canon of Lahore Cathedral in 1934.¹ He was the Vicar between 1934 and 1953 at Kilmeston-with-Beauworth, England^G.¹ He was the Chaplain in 1954 at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Olive Gorton was the daughter of Rev. Canon Charles Vincent Gorton.² She married Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden, son of Major Henry Charles Carden and Blanche Catherine Jones-Parry, in November 1913.¹ She died on 29 March 1966.¹
     From November 1913, her married name became Carden.

     Lieutenant John Rory Carden was born on 21 August 1917.¹ He was the son of Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden and Olive Gorton.² He died in December 1941 at age 24, killed on active service, in HMS Audacity.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy (Fleet Air Arm.)¹

     Derrick Charles Carden was born on 31 October 1921.¹ He was the son of Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden and Olive Gorton.² He married Elizabeth Anne Russell, daughter of Captain Alfred Spalding Russell and Edith Margaret Taylor, on 18 October 1952.¹ He died on 26 April 2006 at age 84.³
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was in the Sudan Political Service between 1942 and 1954.¹ He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1954 and 1979.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Yemen Arab Republic between 1973 and 1976.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1974.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Sudan between 1977 and 1979.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fareham in 1980.¹ He lived in 2003 at Apartment 47, The King’s House, Peninsula Square, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Captain Alfred Spalding Russell was born on 7 July 1897 at Kensington, London, England^G.² He married Edith Margaret Taylor on 25 November 1922 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.² He died on 29 August 1945 at age 48 at Portchester, Hampshire, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Portchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Anne Russell is the daughter of Captain Alfred Spalding Russell and Edith Margaret Taylor.^2,3 She married Derrick Charles Carden, son of Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden and Olive Gorton, on 18 October 1952.¹
     From 18 October 1952, her married name became Carden.

     Sir John Craven Carden, 8th Bt. was born on 17 November 1953.¹ He was the son of Derrick Charles Carden and Elizabeth Anne Russell.² He married Celia Howitt in 1983.¹ He died on 12 November 2021 at age 67 at Chichester, Sussex, England.³
     He lived in 2003 at 7 Cleveland Road, Chichester, Sussex, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Carden, of Templemore, co. Tipperary [I., 1787] on 4 April 2008.⁴

     Celia Howitt married Sir John Craven Carden, 8th Bt., son of Derrick Charles Carden and Elizabeth Anne Russell, in 1983.¹
