     Major Thomas Langdon Trethewy was born in 1867 at Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England.² He was the son of Henry Trethewy and Emma Orton Barwell.^3,2 He married Emily Rashleigh, daughter of Reverend John Kendall Rashleigh and Charlotte Maria Hodgson, on 8 June 1904 at Kensington, London, England.^3,2 He died on 16 March 1910.

     Captain Peter Stewart Campbell-Orde was born on 12 June 1906.¹ He was the son of Colin Ridley Campbell-Orde and Winifred Harriet Stewart.² He married Margaret Constance Atkinson, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Clayton Atkinson, on 2 March 1940.¹ He died on 8 February 1942 at age 35, from wounds received in action at Singapore.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Captain.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Clayton Atkinson lived at Sheringham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.¹

     Margaret Constance Atkinson is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Clayton Atkinson.² She married, firstly, Captain Peter Stewart Campbell-Orde, son of Colin Ridley Campbell-Orde and Winifred Harriet Stewart, on 2 March 1940.¹ She married Major Edward Eyre Williams, son of Major Edward Eyre Williams, on 5 January 1946.¹
     From 2 March 1940, her married name became Campbell-Orde.¹ From 5 January 1946, her married name became Williams.¹
