Sir James Campbell of Auchinbreck, 6th Bt.1

     Sir James Campbell of Auchinbreck, 6th Bt. was born in 1721.1 He was the son of Duncan Campbell and Jean Clerk.2 He died on 1 January 1814, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Campbell, of Auchinbreck [N.S., 1628] on 14 October 1756.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 49th Regiment.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became temporarily dormant.3
