     He lived at Hampton, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Knock, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Killyleagh between 1730 and 1761.² He lived at Newtown Hamilton, County Armagh, Ireland.²

     Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. was baptised on 25 February 1775 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Caldwell and Anne Hamilton.¹ He married Jane Davidson, daughter of James Davidson, on 21 August 1800 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He died on 26 October 1842 at age 67 at Fremont House, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was buried at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1844.¹
     He held the office of Treasurer General of Canada in April 1810.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Caldwell, of Wellsburrow, co. Fermanagh [I., 1683] on 17 June 1830.¹

     Jane Davidson was born circa 1782.¹ She was the daughter of James Davidson.¹ She married Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Henry Caldwell and Anne Hamilton, on 21 August 1800 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ She died in 1805 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ She was buried at Quebec, Canada^G.¹
     From 21 August 1800, her married name became Caldwell.¹

     James Davidson gained the rank of Surgeon in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Canadian Volunteers.¹

     Sir Henry John Caldwell, 7th Bt. was born on 22 October 1801.¹ He was the son of Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. and Jane Davidson.¹ He was baptised on 28 November 1801 at Protestant Church, Quebec, Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He married Sophia Louisa Paynter, daughter of David Runwa Paynter and Sophia Catherine Price, on 18 December 1839 at Walcot, Somerset, England^G.¹ He died on 13 October 1858 at age 56 at Marlborough Buildings, Bath, Somerset, England^G, without issue.¹ He was buried at Lansdown Cemetery, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ His will (dated 18 January 1845) was proven (by probate) on 15 November 1858.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Canada] in 1831.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Caldwell, of Wellsburrow, co. Fermanagh [I., 1683] on 26 October 1842.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Sophia Louisa Paynter was born on 25 November 1818.¹ She was the daughter of David Runwa Paynter and Sophia Catherine Price.¹ She married Sir Henry John Caldwell, 7th Bt., son of Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. and Jane Davidson, on 18 December 1839 at Walcot, Somerset, England^G.¹ She died on 22 September 1864 at age 45 at Marlborough Buildings, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
     From 18 December 1839, her married name became Caldwell.¹

     David Runwa Paynter was born in 1786 at Pembrokeshire, Wales.² He married Sophia Catherine Price, daughter of Howel Price, on 11 June 1807 at St. Mary, St. Marylebone, London, England.² He died on 8 February 1864 at Pembrokeshire, Wales.²
     He lived at Dale Castle, Pembrokeshire, Wales^G.¹

     Sophia Catherine Price was born in 1789 at Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, Wales.² She is the daughter of Howel Price.¹ She married David Runwa Paynter on 11 June 1807 at St. Mary, St. Marylebone, London, England.² She died on 7 January 1863 at 7 Great Bedford Street, Bath, Somerset, England.²
     From 11 June 1807, her married name became Paynter.²

     Howel Price lived at Berthlewydd, Carmarthenshire, Wales^G.¹

     Anne Caldwell was born in August 1805.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Caldwell, 6th Bt. and Jane Davidson.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. John Eden, son of Thomas Eden and Mariana Jones, in August 1829 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ She died in November 1841 at age 36.¹ She was buried at Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹
     From August 1829, her married name became Eden.¹ From 1830, her married name became Eden.
