     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Armoured Corps.¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945, in France and North-West Europe.¹ He lived in 2003 at 5 Shoreham Place, Shoreham, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹

     Marjorie Laura Awdrey Ball was born circa 1920.² She was the daughter of John Frederick Awdrey Ball.¹ She married Captain Charles John Geoffrey Stanley, son of Charles Douglas Stanley and Adela Grace Walker-Jones, on 21 March 1942.¹ She died on 26 March 2014.²
     Her married name became Stanley.

     Christopher Geoffrey Awdrey Stanley was born on 18 March 1949.¹ He is the son of Captain Charles John Geoffrey Stanley and Marjorie Laura Awdrey Ball.¹ He married Anita Jane Keogh in 1974.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in economics.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Knighton on Teme, Worcestershire, England^G.¹

     Martin John Llewellyn Stanley was born on 19 June 1952.¹ He is the son of Captain Charles John Geoffrey Stanley and Marjorie Laura Awdrey Ball.¹ He married Philippa Alison Beauvais Southwell, daughter of W. Beric Southwell, in 1979.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Ruard, Neb Lane, Oxted, Surrey, England^G.¹

     John Frederick Awdrey Ball lived at Tardebigge, Worcestershire, England^G.¹

     Phipps Edward Stanley was born on 21 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Henry Stanley and Frederica Lucy Phipps Hornby.¹ He married Elsie Piddock, daughter of J. C. Piddock, on 3 September 1920.¹ He died on 10 April 1924 at age 42.¹

     Elsie Piddock was the daughter of J. C. Piddock.¹ She married Phipps Edward Stanley, son of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Henry Stanley and Frederica Lucy Phipps Hornby, on 3 September 1920.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     Her married name became Stanley.

     2nd Lt. John William Stanley was born on 10 March 1886.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Henry Stanley and Frederica Lucy Phipps Hornby.¹ He died on 7 June 1917 at age 31, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Lancashire Fusiliers.¹

     Frances Ellinor Stanley was born on 1 May 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Henry Stanley and Frederica Lucy Phipps Hornby.¹ She died on 25 January 1945 at age 62.¹
