     Reverend Thomas Borlase Coulson was baptised on 26 January 1831 at Penzance, Cornwall, England.² He was the son of John Coulson.² He married Charlotte Elizabeth Shaw, daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey, on 22 April 1862.¹ He died in 1895 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.^1,2

     Anne Isabella Alexander was born on 27 January 1848 at Bengal, India.^2,3 She was the daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey.⁴ She was baptised on 24 April 1848 at Mhow, Bengal, India.³ She married Charles Forbes Calland on 10 July 1871.¹ She died on 3 November 1924 at age 76.¹
     From 10 July 1871, her married name became Calland.

     Charles Forbes Calland married Anne Isabella Alexander, daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey, on 10 July 1871.¹ He died on 5 July 1907.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 98th Regiment.¹

     Mary Alexander was born on 29 March 1850 at India.^2,3 She was the daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey.⁴ She was baptised on 16 March 1851 at Agra, Bengal, India.³ She married Henry John Goodwin Robinson on 15 June 1869.¹ She died on 16 December 1925 at age 75.¹
     From 15 June 1869, her married name became Robinson.

     Henry John Goodwin Robinson married Mary Alexander, daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey, on 15 June 1869.¹ He died in 1916.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 98th Regiment.¹

     Fanny Jane Alexander was born on 27 September 1852 at India.^2,3 She was the daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey.⁴ She was baptised on 5 December 1852 at Gwalior, Bengal, India.³ She married Commander Aston Edward McMurdo on 9 March 1882.¹ She died on 28 July 1942 at age 89.¹
     From 9 March 1882, her married name became McMurdo.

     Commander Aston Edward McMurdo married Fanny Jane Alexander, daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey, on 9 March 1882.¹ He died on 21 April 1904.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Lucy Alexander was born on 25 January 1855 at India.^2,3 She was the daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey.⁴ She was baptised on 22 April 1855 at Indore, Bengal, India.³ She married Frank Theodore Bagshawe on 2 June 1881.¹ She died on 5 June 1932 at age 77.¹
     From 2 June 1881, her married name became Bagshawe.

     Frank Theodore Bagshawe married Lucy Alexander, daughter of Major William Alexander and Mary Grey, on 2 June 1881.¹ He died on 27 June 1923.¹

     Robert Henry Alexander was the son of William John Alexander-Shaw and Isabella Alexander.² He died, killed in the retreat from Kabul.¹
