     He graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He was the founder and director general of The African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF – ‘The Flying Doctors.¹‘)

     Mark Lionel Wood was born on 7 January 1945.¹ He is the son of Sir Arthur Michael Wood and Susan Studd Buxton.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)² He graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹

     Hugo Charles Wood was born on 13 May 1948.¹ He is the son of Sir Arthur Michael Wood and Susan Studd Buxton.²
     He was educated at Stanbridge Earls School, Romsey, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Wye Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)²

     Janet Mary Wood was born on 12 August 1946.² She is the daughter of Sir Arthur Michael Wood and Susan Studd Buxton.³ She was also reported to have been born on 8 December 1946.¹ She married Robin Ulyate, son of Kenyon Robert Ulyate and Marghie de Luigi, on 19 April 1969.¹
     From 19 April 1969, her married name became Ulyate.

     Robin Ulyate was born on 18 August 1942.² He is the son of Kenyon Robert Ulyate and Marghie de Luigi.² He married Janet Mary Wood, daughter of Sir Arthur Michael Wood and Susan Studd Buxton, on 19 April 1969.¹
     He lived at Tanzania^G.¹

     Katrina Susan Wood was born on 6 July 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Arthur Michael Wood and Susan Studd Buxton.²

     2nd Lt. George Barclay Buxton was born on 16 October 1892.¹ He was the son of Reverend Barclay Fowell Buxton and Margaret Maria Amelia Railton.² He died on 28 July 1917 at age 24, killed while flying.²
     He fought in the First World War, in British East Africa, Egypt and France.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.²

     Barclay Godfrey Buxton was born on 7 January 1895.¹ He was the son of Reverend Barclay Fowell Buxton and Margaret Maria Amelia Railton.² He married Dorothea Reader Harris, daughter of Reader Harris, on 24 October 1922.¹ He died in 1986.¹
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the First World War, iwhere he was severely wounded.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917 and bar.¹

     Reader Harris lived at 51 North Side, Clapham Common, London, England^G.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹
