General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley1 

General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley was born on 24 June 1901 at Anerley, Croydon, London, England.3 He was the son of Reverend Charles Albert Keightley and Kathleen Frances Ross.3 He was baptised on 9 September 1901 at Holy Trinity, Penage, Surrey, England.3 He married Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne, daughter of Brig.-Gen. George Nowell Thomas Smyth-Osbourne and Gladys Marguerite Porter, in 1932.3 He died on 17 June 1974 at age 72 at Salisbury General Infirmary, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.3
He fought in the Second World War.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1945.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1950.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1953.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1957.1
