     Lt.-Col. Charles Humphrey John Butler was born on 9 April 1927.¹ He is the son of G/Capt. James Humphrey Butler and Marguerite Kathleen Louise Hale.² He married Elizabeth Ann Mett, daughter of Harry F. Mett, on 29 June 1957.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, U.S.A.^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.¹ He lived in 2003 at 11210 Thomlar Drive, Fairfax Station, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Harry F. Mett lived at Schenectady, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Elizabeth Ann Mett was the daughter of Harry F. Mett.² She married Lt.-Col. Charles Humphrey John Butler, son of G/Capt. James Humphrey Butler and Marguerite Kathleen Louise Hale, on 29 June 1957.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 29 June 1957, her married name became Butler.

     Bradford Frederick Butler was born in 1962.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Humphrey John Butler and Elizabeth Ann Mett.² He married Kyong-Oh (?) in 1992.¹
     He graduated from University of Oregon, Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.^G, in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.¹

     Kyong-Oh (?) was born at South Korea^G.¹ She married Bradford Frederick Butler, son of Lt.-Col. Charles Humphrey John Butler and Elizabeth Ann Mett, in 1992.¹
     Kyong-Oh (?) also went by the nick-name of Kim.¹ From 1992, her married name became Butler.

     Major William Stewart lived at Daisy Hill, Clogher, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     F. E. Peto lived at Alverstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ From 1971, her married name became Scerri.
