Callough O’Donnell, The O’Donnell of Tir Conaill1 
He was also known as Calvagh.1 He held the position of Chief of the Name from between 1555 and 1566.4 He was created 1st Earl of Tyrconnell [Ireland] on 22 May 1561, which was orderd by Queen Elizabeth I, although this was never carried out.1,3 In 1564 he was granted Tirconnell by Queen Elizabeth I of England.4
