Alice Louisa Hardy-Johnston was the daughter of Thomas Masterman Hardy-Johnston.3 She married Trevor Ogilvie-Grant, 4th Baron Strathspey of Strathspey, son of Francis William Ogilvy-Grant, 10th Earl of Seafield and Ann Trevor Corry Evans, on 19 December 1905.1 She died on 18 November 1945.1
From 19 December 1905, her married name became Ogilvie-Grant.4 After her marriage, Alice Louisa Hardy-Johnston was styled as Baroness Strathspey of Strathspey on 12 November 1915.

Lt.-Col. Donald Patrick Trevor Grant, 5th Baron Strathspey of Strathspey was born on 18 March 1912.3 He was the son of Trevor Ogilvie-Grant, 4th Baron Strathspey of Strathspey and Alice Louisa Hardy-Johnston.1 He married, firstly, Alice Bowe, daughter of Francis Bowe, on 24 September 1938.3 He and Alice Bowe were divorced in 1951.3 He married, secondly, Olive Amy Grant, daughter of Wallace Henry Grant, on 1 September 1951.3 He died on 27 January 1992 at age 79.3
He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.3 He was educated at South Eastern Agricultural College, England.3 He succeeded as the 17th Baronet Colquhoun, of Luss [N.S., 1625] on 11 November 1948.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Strathspey of Strathspey, counties Inverness and Moray [U.K., 1884] on 11 November 1948.3 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the General List.3 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)3
