     John L. Duffus is the son of Captain J. L. L. Duffus.¹ He married Elizabeth Sylvia Burdett, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ernest Wyndham Burdett and Hebe Etheldreda Ellen Curwen Collis, on 2 January 1964.¹

     Beatrice Mary Burdett was the daughter of Reverend William Jerome Burdett and Eliza Katharine Toye.¹ She married Reverend Charles Robert Loraine McDowall, son of Reverend Charles McDowall, on 7 August 1902.¹ She died on 3 December 1961.¹
     From 7 August 1902, her married name became McDowall.

     Reverend Charles McDowall graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He was Prebendary of St Paul’s.¹ He was the Headmaster at Highgate School, Highgate, London, England^G.¹

     Reverend Charles Robert Loraine McDowall was the son of Reverend Charles McDowall.¹ He married Beatrice Mary Burdett, daughter of Reverend William Jerome Burdett and Eliza Katharine Toye, on 7 August 1902.¹ He died on 14 October 1950.¹
     He was the Headmaster at King’s School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was an assistant master at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar at Brabourne, Kent, England^G.¹

     Katherine Hilda Burdett was the daughter of Reverend William Jerome Burdett and Eliza Katharine Toye.¹

     Marion Edith Burdett was born circa 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Jerome Burdett and Eliza Katharine Toye.¹ She died on 27 September 1971, unmarried.¹

     Julie Benkard was born circa 1883.¹ She married Lewis Stuyvesant Chanler, son of John Winthrop Chanler and Margaret Astor Ward, in 1921.¹ She died in 1961.¹
     She was also known as Julie Olin.¹ From 1921, her married name became Chanler.¹
