     Sir Charles Buckworth-Herne-Soame, 9th Bt. was born on 29 May 1830.1 He was the son of Charles Buckworth-Herne-Soame and Hannah Procter.1 He married Mary Proctor, daughter of Richard Fellows Proctor, on 29 March 1855.1 He died on 25 March 1906 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Bedford Grammar School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, EnglandG.2 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (M.R.C.S.E.)1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Buckworth, of Sheen, co. Surrey [E., 1697] on 1 February 1888.1 He was a member of the County Council of Shropshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Society of Apothecaries (L.S.A.)1
