     Everard Buckworth was baptised on 4 September 1595.¹ He was the son of Richard Buckworth and Rose Skegness.¹ He married Anne Oxburgh, daughter of Thomas Oxburgh.¹ He died in September 1641.¹ He was buried on 1 October 1641.¹

     He was Deputy Governor of the Turkey Merchants.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London between 1683 and 1686.²
     He also had three daughters.¹

     Hester (?) married, firstly, Moses Goodyear before 1661.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Buckworth, son of Everard Buckworth and Anne Oxburgh, circa 4 January 1661/62.¹
     From before 1661, her married name became Goodyear.¹ From circa 4 January 1661/62, her married name became Buckworth.

     Sir John Buckworth, 1st Bt. was born on 18 October 1662.¹ He was the son of Sir John Buckworth and Hester (?)¹ He was baptised on 28 October 1662 at St. Olave’s, Hart Street, London, England^G.² He married Elizabeth Hall, daughter of John Hall, on 27 October 1687 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.² He died on 12 June 1709 at age 46 at Sheen, England^G.² He was buried on 24 June 1709 at St. Peter le Poor, London, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 18 June 1709.²
     He was appointed Knight on 2 December 1693 at Petersham, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Buckworth, of Sheen, co. Surrey [England] on 1 April 1697.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of London from 1704 to 1705.¹ His last will was dated 23 July 1708.
