     He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Reverend Alexander Rodger graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Grizelda Wilson Rodger was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Rodger.¹ She married Robert Cathcart Bruce, son of Maj.-Gen. Alexander James Bruce and Marianne Thomas, on 7 November 1882.¹ She died on 24 August 1940.¹
     From 7 November 1882, her married name became Bruce.

     Major Alexander Cathcart Bruce was born on 8 December 1894.¹ He was the son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Grizelda Wilson Rodger.¹ He married Betty Aitken, daughter of John Malcolm Aitken, on 18 April 1958.¹ He died in September 1966 at age 71, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Highland Light Infantry.¹ He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935.¹ He was in the Minister of Home Security between 1937 and 1943.¹ He was British Council Representative to Malta between 1945 and 1950.¹ He was Director of Training and Operations of Civil Defence between 1950 and 1958 at British Columbia, Canada^G.¹

     John Malcolm Aitken lived at Lockerbie, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Betty Aitken is the daughter of John Malcolm Aitken.¹ She married, firstly, William Echin Grayburn before 1958.¹ She married, secondly, Major Alexander Cathcart Bruce, son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Grizelda Wilson Rodger, on 18 April 1958.¹
     From before 1958, her married name became Grayburn.¹ From 18 September 1958, her married name became Bruce.

     Robert Cathcart Bruce was born on 24 July 1898.¹ He was the son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Grizelda Wilson Rodger.¹ He married Christian Adeline Henderson, daughter of William Henderson, on 2 June 1927.¹ He died on 14 April 1966 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, in France and Belgium.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry.¹

     William Henderson lived at Berkeley House, Frome, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Christian Adeline Henderson was the daughter of William Henderson.¹ She married Robert Cathcart Bruce, son of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Grizelda Wilson Rodger, on 2 June 1927.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 2 June 1927, her married name became Bruce.¹

     Fairlie Cathcart Bruce was born on 13 April 1928.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Cathcart Bruce and Christian Adeline Henderson.² She married Charles William Hutton in 1951.¹ She died in 2002 at Somerset, England.³
     She lived at Brook House, Sampford Breet, Taunton, Somerset, England.¹
