     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1932 and 1947.1 He was in the Civil Service in 1947.1 He was Assistant Secretary Minister of Pensions and National Insurance.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1
