Sir George Duff-Sutherland Dunbar of Hempriggs, 6th Bt.1 
He was given the name of George Duff-Dunbar at birth.2 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dunbar, of Hempriggs, co. Caithness [N.S., 1706] on 7 December 1897.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Officer in 1898 in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders.2 He gained the rank of officer in 1902 in the Indian Army.2 He was commander of the Military Police, Assam.2 He fought in the Arbor Expedition, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the King’s Police Medal (K.P.M.)2 He fought in the First World War, with the War Office, in France and the Indian Frontier.2 He fought in the Second World War.2

He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1931 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the during the Second World War.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Caithness in 1955.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dunbar, of Hempriggs, co. Caithness [N.S., 1706] on 8 April 1962.2
