     Sir Edward Bromfield, 2nd Bt. was born before 1632.¹ He was the son of Sir John Bromfield, 1st Bt. and Joyce Austen.¹ He married Susan Bowell circa 14 April 1666.¹ He died on 17 February 1703/4, suddenly, without male issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bromfield, of Southwark, co. Surrey [E., 1661] before 1666.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Surrey in 1677, but did not act.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Surrey in 1689.¹

     Susan Bowell married Sir Edward Bromfield, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Bromfield, 1st Bt. and Joyce Austen, circa 14 April 1666.¹
     She lived at Cockthorp, Ducklington, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ From circa 14 April 1666, her married name became Bromfield.¹

     Joyce Bromfield is the daughter of Sir Edward Bromfield, 2nd Bt. and Susan Bowell.¹ She married Thomas Lant.¹
     Her married name became Lant.¹

     Thomas Lant married Joyce Bromfield, daughter of Sir Edward Bromfield, 2nd Bt. and Susan Bowell.¹

     Charles Bromfield was the son of Sir John Bromfield, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Michelborne.¹ He died after 1663.¹
