     He was a practising a South African representative at polo.¹

     Rhoda Louisa Beatrice Briscoe was born on 24 July 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Richard Briscoe and Jane Eliza Anne Pollexfen Fuller.¹ She died on 2 January 1874 at age 1.¹

     Reverend Thomas Briscoe was born on 30 June 1813.¹ He was the son of Richard Briscoe and Margaret Owen.¹ He died on 15 February 1895 at age 81, unmarried.¹

     Reverend William Kyffin Bostock Briscoe was the son of Richard Briscoe and Margaret Owen.¹ He married Anne Elizabeth Ellis Lloyd, daughter of John Ellis Lloyd and Eleanor Sothern, on 7 January 1876.¹ He died on 6 September 1892.¹

     From 7 January 1876, her married name became Briscoe.¹

     John Ellis Lloyd married Eleanor Sothern, daughter of John Sothern, on 21 August 1845 at Christchurch, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.²
