     Robert Kerr was the son of Robert Kerr and Isabel Home.¹ A contract for the marriage of Robert Kerr and Helen Grahamshaw was signed on 14 October 1586.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Wilson Molesworth was born on 9 September 1870.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. Anthony Oliver Molesworth and Anne Elizabeth Smith.³ He married Dora Hanbury Brown, daughter of Major Sir Hanbury Brown, on 7 July 1903.² He died on 5 January 1959 at age 88.²
     He was educated at Cooper’s Hill Engineering College.² He was Assistant Under-Secretary, Ministry of Public Works, Cairo.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Suez Canal Defences.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1922.²

     Hugh William Woods Ballard was born on 22 November 1968.¹ He is the son of William Richard Woods Ballard and Marianne Jean Elspeth Arbuthnott.¹ He married Rebecca Louisa Hardisty, daughter of Dr. Brian Hardisty, on 30 May 1998.²

     He was ancestor of the Kerrs of Bughtrig and the Kerrs of the Hale through his first wife.¹ He lived at Redden, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1633.¹

     George Kerr was the son of William Kerr of Ancram and Margaret Dundas.¹

     Isabel Kerr was the daughter of William Kerr of Ancram and Margaret Dundas.¹ She married John Ker of Corbet.¹
     Her married name became Ker.¹

     Helen Grahamshaw is the daughter of John Grahamshaw.¹ A contract for the marriage of Helen Grahamshaw and Robert Kerr was signed on 14 October 1586.¹
