     Mary Crane is the daughter of Sir Robert Crane, 1st and last Bt. and Susan Alington.¹ She married Sir Ralph Hare, 1st Bt., son of Sir John Hare and Hon. Elizabeth Coventry, circa 26 October 1647.²
     From circa 26 October 1647, her married name became Hare.²

     Sir Ralph Hare, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir John Hare and Hon. Elizabeth Coventry.² He married, firstly, Mary Crane, daughter of Sir Robert Crane, 1st and last Bt. and Susan Alington, circa 26 October 1647.² He married, secondly, Vere Townshend, daughter of Sir Roger Townshend, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary de Vere, on 30 August 1660.² He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Chapman circa February 1671.² He died on 12 July 1671.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Hare, of Stow Bardolph, Norfolk [England] on 23 July 1641.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk between 1654 and 1658.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for King’s Lynn in 1660.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk between 1661 and 1671.²

     Elizabeth Mayse was baptised on 19 August 1716 at Milton Bryant, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ She was born illegitimately circa 1716.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Johnson.¹ She married Sir Edward Smyth, 4th Bt., son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges, on 11 June 1747 at Milton Bryan, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ She died on 22 June 1770 at age 53.¹ She was buried on 30 June 1770 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹ Her will (dated 23 April 1763) was proven (by probate) on 26 June 1770.¹
     From 11 June 1747, her married name became Smyth.¹

     Joseph Johnson was born circa 1682.¹ He died on 4 February 1742/43, unmarried.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1742/43, by ‘Elizabeth Mayse, commonly called Miss Johnson’.¹
     He lived at Milton Bryan, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Charles Smyth, 5th Bt. was baptised on 12 October 1711 at St. James’ Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges.¹ He married Elizabeth Burgess, daughter of John Burgess, on 11 August 1760.¹ He died on 24 March 1773 at age 61, without male issue.¹ He was buried on 1 April 1773 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 3 April 1773.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex from 1760 to 1761.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Smith, of Hill Hall, co. Essex [E., 1661] on 4 March 1760.¹ His last will was dated 24 May 1769.

     Elizabeth Burgess was the daughter of John Burgess.¹ She married Sir Charles Smyth, 5th Bt., son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges, on 11 August 1760.¹ She died on 2 February 1776 at Bromley, Kent, England^G.¹ She was buried at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹ She died intestate and her estate was administered to Thomas Burges, a creditor, with Ann Smyth, spinster, the only child, renouncing on 13 March 1776.¹
     From 11 August 1760, her married name became Smyth.¹

     John Burgess lived at London, England^G.¹

     Ann Smyth was the daughter of Sir Charles Smyth, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Burgess.¹ She married Reverend Robert Willan on 13 January 1778.² She died on 24 April 1833.²
     From 13 January 1778, her married name became Willan.²

     Rev. Sir William Smyth, 6th Bt. was born circa 1719.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges.¹ He married Abigail Wood, daughter of Andrew Wood, before 1746.¹ He died on 25 January 1777.¹ He was buried on 8 February 1777 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1754 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was the Rector between 1754 and 1755 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1754 and 1755 at Stapleford Tawney, Essex, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Smith, of Hill Hall, co. Essex [E., 1661] on 24 March 1773.¹ He lived at Hill Hall, Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.² He lived at Horham Hall, Essex, England^G.²

     Abigail Wood was born circa 1716.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Wood.¹ She married Rev. Sir William Smyth, 6th Bt., son of Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt. and Anne Hedges, before 1746.¹ She died on 28 February 1787.¹ She was buried on 8 March 1787 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England^G.¹ Her will (dated 14 February 1786) was proven (by probate) on 9 March 1787.¹
     From before 1746, her married name became Smyth.¹
