He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 3 August 1633.1 He was an attorney of the Court of Common Pleas.1 He lived in 1652 at Solihull, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Warwickshire from 1652 to 1653.1 He was created 1st Baronet Bovey, of Hillfields, co. Warwick [England] on 30 August 1660.1 He lived at Long Stow, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Bedfordshire from November 1668 to 1670.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2
