Oliver Thomas Jones was born on 8 September 1776.1 He was the son of Robert Jones and Joanna Lloyd.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Stanley, daughter of Colonel Henry Stanley and Susannah Robinson.1 He married, secondly, Maria Antonia Swinburne, daughter of Henry Swinburne.1 He died on 15 November 1815 at age 39.1
     He lived at Fonmon Castle, Glamorgan, Wales.2 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1
     He also had two daughters by his first wife, and another daughter by his second wife.1
