     Ellen Emelia Barnard was born in 1828.² She was the daughter of Thomas Barnard.¹ She married Sir Samuel George Bonham, 1st Bt., son of Captain George Bonham and Isabella Baines Woodgate, on 16 June 1846.¹ She died on 3 April 1859.¹
     From 16 June 1846, her married name became Bonham.¹

     Thomas Barnard was born on 21 December 1789 at London, England.² He died in 1863 at Southwick Crescent, Kensington, London, England.²
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 August 1847.¹ He was the son of Sir Samuel George Bonham, 1st Bt. and Ellen Emelia Barnard.¹ He married Louisa Buchanan, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Andrew Buchanan, 1st Bt. and Frances Katharine Mellish, on 23 August 1871.² He died on 31 July 1927 at age 79.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bonham [U.K., 1852] on 8 October 1863.¹ He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was in the Diplomatic Service between 1869 and 1890.¹ He was Secretary of the Legation to Lisbon between 1885 and 1890.¹ He was Secretary of the Legation to The Hague between 1890 and 1893.² He was Secretary of the Embassy to Madrid between 1893 and 1897.² He was Secretary of the Embassy to Rome between 1897 and 1899.² He was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Belgrade between 1900 and 1903.² He was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Berne between 1905 and 1909.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Louisa Buchanan was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Andrew Buchanan, 1st Bt. and Frances Katharine Mellish.¹ She married Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Samuel George Bonham, 1st Bt. and Ellen Emelia Barnard, on 23 August 1871.¹ She died on 19 January 1923.¹
     From 23 August 1871, her married name became Bonham.¹

     Major George Lionel Bonham was born on 6 August 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Buchanan.¹ He married Amy Gaskell, daughter of Captain Henry Brooks Gaskell, on 11 June 1898.¹ He died on 23 January 1910 at age 36, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Staff Officer between 1907 and 1909 in the Macedonian Gendarmerie.¹ He was Colonel of the Turkish Gendarmerie of Smyrna between 1909 and 1910.¹

     Amy Gaskell was the daughter of Captain Henry Brooks Gaskell.¹ She married Major George Lionel Bonham, son of Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Buchanan, on 11 June 1898.¹ She died on 18 February 1910.¹
     From 11 June 1898, her married name became Bonham.¹

     Cecil Maurice Bonham was born on 7 August 1887.¹ He was the son of Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Buchanan.¹ He died on 28 September 1908 at age 21, unmarried.¹

     Edith Florence Bonham was born on 12 January 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Buchanan.¹ She married Sir Evelyn Mountstuart Grant Duff, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Mountstuart Grant Duff and Anna Julia Webster, on 27 March 1900.¹ She died on 30 May 1937 at age 60.¹
     From 27 March 1900, her married name became Grant Duff.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹ She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (G.C.St.J.)¹

     Sir Evelyn Mountstuart Grant Duff was born on 9 October 1863 at London, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Mountstuart Grant Duff and Anna Julia Webster.^1,3 He married Edith Florence Bonham, daughter of Sir George Francis Bonham, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Buchanan, on 27 March 1900.¹ He died on 19 September 1926 at age 62.¹
     He lived in 1871 at St. Mary Abbott, Kensington, London, England^G.^4,3 He lived in 1881 at Twickenham, London, England^G.^2,3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Berne between 1913 and 1916.¹

     Camilla Ann Bonsor was born on 2 April 1961.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Cosmo Bonsor and Ann Marie Wallenberg.¹
