     Dr. Andrew Allardice MacMillan was born on 26 September 1942.¹ He is the son of General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap and Marian Blakiston-Houston.¹ He married Roberta Mary Annabel Becher, daughter of Henry Becher and Frances Margaret Rosemary Bell, on 1 January 1972.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago^G, in 1968 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Economics.¹ He lived in 2003 at via Ambrogio Travesari 80, Rome, Italy^G.¹ He was director of Field Operations Division, Food and Agriculture Orgamization of the U.N. before 2005.¹ He lived in 2007 at Scansano, Italy^G.²

     Roberta Mary Annabel Becher was born on 23 March 1944 at Warescot Nursing Home^G.² She is the daughter of Henry Becher and Frances Margaret Rosemary Bell.^3,2 She married Dr. Andrew Allardice MacMillan, son of General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap and Marian Blakiston-Houston, on 1 January 1972.¹
     From 1 January 1972, her married name became MacMillan.¹

     Henry Becher was born in 1907 at Edmonton, London, England^G.² He was the son of Henry Becher and Emily Mary Lydia Neil.² He married Frances Margaret Rosemary Bell on 3 February 1943 at St. Marylebone Parish Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.² He died on 18 September 1947, at sea.²
     He was with the Merchant Navy.²
