     Cecilia Jane Spurgin is the daughter of Captain Arthur R. Spurgin.¹ She married George Gordon MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap, son of General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap and Marian Blakiston-Houston, on 2 September 1961 at Blockley, Gloucestershire, England.^1,2
     From 2 September 1961, her married name became MacMillan.¹

     Captain Arthur R. Spurgin gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹
