     Jane Wright was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Wright.1 She married Major John Blakiston, son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochfort, on 26 September 1814.1 She died on 21 June 1874.1
     From 26 September 1814, her married name became Blakiston.1

     Matthew Blakiston was born on 13 January 1821.1 He was the son of Major John Blakiston and Jane Wright.1 He married Anne Blakiston-Houston, daughter of Richard Bayly Blakiston-Houston and Mary Isabella Houston, on 26 September 1848.1 He died on 19 April 1907 at age 86, without issue.1
     He graduated from London University, London, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)1

     Richard Bayly Blakiston-Houston was born on 13 May 1793.1 He was the son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochfort.1 He married Mary Isabella Houston, daughter of John Holmes Houston, on 11 July 1827. He died on 21 July 1857 at age 64.1
     He was given the name of Richard Blakiston at birth.1 In 1843 his name was legally changed to Richard Blakiston-Houston by Royal Licence.1 He lived at Roddens, County Down, IrelandG.1 He lived at Orangefield, County Down, IrelandG.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Norfolk Regiment.1
