     He was educated at Bradfield College, Bradfield, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Indian Army.1 He gained the rank of Second World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.2
