     Harriet Blunden is the daughter of William Pitt Blunden and Harriet Pope.¹ She married Reverend Joseph Carson on 21 July 1841.¹
     From 21 July 1841, her married name became Carson.¹

     Reverend Joseph Carson married Harriet Blunden, daughter of William Pitt Blunden and Harriet Pope, on 21 July 1841.¹ He died in February 1898.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He was Senior Fellow at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     General Overington Blunden was born on 14 August 1767.¹ He was the son of Sir John Blunden, 1st Bt. and Hon. Lucy Susanna Cuffe.¹ He died in February 1838 at age 70.¹

     Elizabeth Knox was the daughter of Major John Knox and Catherine Chaloner.^1,2 She married Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt., son of William Pitt Blunden and Harriet Pope, on 22 April 1839 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 15 June 1903 at Lorum Rectory, Bagnalstown.^3,4
     From 22 April 1839, her married name became Blunden.¹

     Robert John Knox was born on 1 September 1817.² He was the son of Major John Knox and Catherine Chaloner.¹ He died on 30 October 1901 at age 84.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He lived at Cahirleske, Callan, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.³ He lived at Ballaghtobin, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Dragoon Guards.¹

     Sir William Blunden, 4th Bt. was born on 25 July 1840 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Knox.¹ He married Florence Caroline Shuttleworth, daughter of Henry Shuttleworth and Eliza Newell, on 26 April 1879.¹ He died on 25 October 1923 at age 83.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1862 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)^1,2 He was admitted to King’s Inn, Dublin in 1863.² He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (L.R.C.S.I.) in 1876.^1,2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1876 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)^1,2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Blunden, of Castle Blunden, co. Kilkenny [I., 1766] on 17 January 1890.¹ He was a physician at Waitara, Taranaki, New Zealand^G.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1904.¹

     John Overington Blunden was born on 27 November 1842.¹ He was the son of Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Knox.¹ He married Frances Hone, daughter of Joseph Hone and Anna Browning, on 25 April 1871.¹ He died on 28 October 1915 at age 72, without issue.¹ He was also reported to have died on 27 September 1915.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He was a practising barrister.¹ He lived at Waltersland, Stillorgan, County Dublin, Ireland.²

     Frances Hone was born on 25 April 1841.² She was the daughter of Joseph Hone and Anna Browning.^1,2 She married John Overington Blunden, son of Sir John Blunden, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Knox, on 25 April 1871.¹ She died on 18 December 1912 at age 71, without issue.²
     From 25 April 1871, her married name became Blunden.¹
