     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of MAjor in the 16th/5th Queen’s Royal Lancers.²

     Ruth Prudence Lane-Fox was born on 13 August 1915 at England.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Edward Lane-Fox and Enid Maud Bethell. She married Major Robert Vickris Taylor, son of Captain John Vickris Taylor and Sybil Mary Hopkinson, on 20 May 1937.¹ She died on 26 March 2006 at age 90.²
     From 20 May 1937, her married name became Taylor.¹

     Sybil Maria Taylor was born on 5 January 1941.¹ She was the daughter of Major Robert Vickris Taylor and Ruth Prudence Lane-Fox.¹ She married Hon. Michael Henry Roper-Curzon, son of Captain Christopher John Henry Roper-Curzon, 19th Baron Teynham and Elspeth Grace Whitaker, on 30 September 1964 at England.¹ She and Hon. Michael Henry Roper-Curzon were divorced in 1967.² She died on 22 April 2020 at age 79.³
     Sybil Maria Taylor usually went by her middle name of Maria.² From 30 September 1964, her married name became Roper-Curzon.¹

     Vivien Taylor was born on 21 July 1939 at England.² She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Anthony Donnithorne Taylor and Vanda Gertrude Isabel Swetenham.^2,3 She married Maj.-Gen. Nicholas George Picton Ansell, son of Colonel Sir Michael Picton Ansell and Victoria Jacintha Fleetwood Fuller, on 17 June 1961.¹
     From 17 June 1961, her married name became Ansell.²

     Maj.-Gen. Nicholas George Picton Ansell was born on 17 August 1937.¹ He is the son of Colonel Sir Michael Picton Ansell and Victoria Jacintha Fleetwood Fuller.² He married Vivien Taylor, daughter of Lt.-Col. Anthony Donnithorne Taylor and Vanda Gertrude Isabel Swetenham, on 17 June 1961.¹
