     Monique Sobotka was born on 27 August 1983.¹ She is the daughter of Kim Sobotka and Lorraine Vivienne Snell.¹

     Frances Snell is the daughter of Isaac Snell and Mary Alice Adams.¹

     Graham Douglas Laing was born in 1918 at New Zealand^G.¹ He died in 1982 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Frederick Willoughby Adams was born on 17 January 1885 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Ward Dillon Adams and Sarah Eliza Christian.¹ He died on 18 March 1908 at age 23 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     John Phillip William Adams was born on 25 June 1895 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Ward Dillon Adams and Sarah Eliza Christian.¹ He married Thelma Phyllis Pearce on 27 November 1920 at Enmore, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ He died in 1947 at Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
     Reference: ‘WILLIE.¹‘ He was Labourer.¹ ‘ My Father was born on Norfolk Island, a direct descendant of the
‘mutiny on the bounty’ – he left the island, a boy of 19 to serve
in the 1st World War. It broke his mothers heart and she died soon
after. He never returned, ever – but my Mum [Thelma Pearce] who had
a nervous breakdown after the still birth of twins, was sent to the
island to recover. She took with her the two youngest at that time,
Keith and Arthur. Keith caught whooping cough and died and was buried
on the island. On our visit to the island we tried to trace Dads
family. His last remaining brother ‘Brassy’ died in 1958. We found
Dads name on the war memorial & in the RSL. Dad died in 1947. How
sad we didn’t know to contact his brother.¹‘
