     Loftus Charles Blomefield was born on 26 May 1905.¹ He was the son of Charles Allan Blomefield and Minnie Otway Burrowes.¹ He married Una Innes Munro, daughter of John Anand Munro, on 30 June 1937.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He graduated from University of South Africa, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa^G, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Veterinary Science (D.V.Sc.) by University of South Africa, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa^G, in 1944.¹ He was assistant chief Veterinary Field Services before 1965 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa^G.¹

     Una Innes Munro was the daughter of John Anand Munro.¹ She married Loftus Charles Blomefield, son of Charles Allan Blomefield and Minnie Otway Burrowes, on 30 June 1937.¹ She died on 21 May 2002.¹
     From 30 June 1937, her married name became Blomefield.¹

     John Anand Munro lived at Port St. John^G.¹

     John Alan Blomefield was born in 1942.¹ He is the son of Loftus Charles Blomefield and Una Innes Munro.¹ He married Norma Ann Schefermann, daughter of B. A. R. Schefermann, in 1967.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 214 Zwartkop Road, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa^G.¹

     Norma Ann Schefermann is the daughter of B. A. R. Schefermann.¹ She married John Alan Blomefield, son of Loftus Charles Blomefield and Una Innes Munro, in 1967.¹
     From 1967, her married name became Blomefield.¹

     Peter Annand Blomefield was born in 1970.¹ He is the son of John Alan Blomefield and Norma Ann Schefermann.¹

     Monica Ann Blomefield was born in 1968.¹ She is the daughter of John Alan Blomefield and Norma Ann Schefermann.¹
