     Roy Cornish Quintal was born on 18 August 1914 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Henry Quintal and Frances Augusta Quintal.¹ He was baptised on 18 October 1914 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He married, firstly, Ina Blanch Veronica Pomeroy, daughter of William Pomeroy and Blanch Mary Hewitt, on 23 February 1949 at St. Barnabas Chapel, Norfolk Island^G.² He married, secondly, Betty Clothier, daughter of George Hector Clothier and Eleanor Mary Ferguson, on 27 February 1968 at St. Barnabas Chapel, Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 25 September 1983 at age 69 at Lady Davidson Convalescent Home, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.^1,2 He was buried on 3 October 1983 at Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia^G.²
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ Private.¹ He was a constable.¹ He was a quiet, refined man with a lovely singing voice. He and his first wife, Ina, lived
for some years in New Zealand, but returned before Ina’s death. His hobby was tortoiseshell carving.

     Philip Ian Blake was born on 31 March 1955.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Ian Francis Blake and Francis Jillian Barton.¹ He married Rebecca Marshall, daughter of Reverend Bernard Marshall, in 1986.¹

     Ina Blanch Veronica Pomeroy was born circa 1917 at Birkenhead, Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ She is the daughter of William Pomeroy and Blanch Mary Hewitt.¹ She married Roy Cornish Quintal, son of Henry Quintal and Frances Augusta Quintal, on 23 February 1949 at St. Barnabas Chapel, Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From 23 February 1949, her married name became Quintal.¹

     Ross Quintal is the son of Roy Cornish Quintal and Ina Blanch Veronica Pomeroy.¹

     Lee (?) was born at Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Joel Quintal is the son of Ross Quintal and Lee (?)¹

     Luke Daniel Quintal was born in 1981.¹ He is the son of Ross Quintal and Lee (?)¹

     Oliver Macy Quintal was born on 10 October 1841 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of William Quintal and Maria Christian.¹ He married Jemima Buffett, daughter of David Buffett and Martha Young, circa 1889 at New Zealand^G.¹ He died on 23 February 1922 at age 80.¹
     He was a practising Barrister.¹ He held the office of President of the Council of Elders of Norfolk between 1896 and 1899.¹

     Jemima Buffett was born on 1 February 1865 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of David Buffett and Martha Young.¹ She married Oliver Macy Quintal, son of William Quintal and Maria Christian, circa 1889 at New Zealand^G.¹ She died on 16 April 1895 at age 30 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     From circa 1889, her married name became Quintal.¹
