     From 8 June 1719, her married name became Clark.² One of the 5 “Fair Maids of Milntown.”¹

     Martha Christian was baptised on 27 August 1698 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England^G.² She was the daughter of Ewan Christian and Mary Cane.¹ She married Robert Tubman on 17 October 1719 at Brigham, Cumberland, England^G.¹
     From 17 October 1719, her married name became Tubman.¹ One of the 5 “Fair Maids of Milntown.”¹

     Catherine Christian was born at Pooildhooie, Maughold, Isle of Man^G.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Christian and Catherine Kelly.¹ She married Captain Charles Alden Hiern, son of Roger Alden Hiern.¹ She died in 1865.¹ She was buried in 1865 at Kirk Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.¹
     Her married name became Hiern.¹
