     He lived at Killester, County Dublin, Ireland^G.³ He lived at Mount Coote, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Arthur William Christian was the son of Thomas Christian and Jessie Eyre.¹ He died in 1864, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the American Civil War.²

     Lt.-Col. Chidley Coote was born circa 1644.¹ He was the son of Chidley Coote and Alice Philips.^1,2 He married Catherine Sandys, daughter of Colonel Robert Sandys, on 26 June 1675.¹ He died in 1702.¹
     He lived at Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Jane Evans was the daughter of Rt. Hon. George Evans and Mary Eyre.¹ She married Reverend Chidley Coote, son of Lt.-Col. Chidley Coote and Catherine Sandys, on 31 January 1701/2.¹ She died in February 1763.¹
     From 31 January 1701/2, her married name became Coote.¹

     Elizabeth Monkhouse was born at Winton, Kirkby Stephen, Westmorland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Monkhouse.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Christian, son of Ewan Christian and Mary Cane, on 15 August 1728 at Orton, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She died on 24 November 1732 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She was buried on 26 November 1732 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.¹
     From 15 August 1728, her married name became Christian.¹

     Dorothy Christian was baptised on 22 April 1730 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Christian and Elizabeth Monkhouse.¹ She married William Christian.¹ She died on 4 September 1772 at age 42 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.^1,3 She was buried on 7 September 1772 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Yaxley was born in August 1769 at Cromer, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She married Miles Harrison on 5 July 1793 at Cromer, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She died in March 1854 at age 84 at Cromer, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     From 5 July 1793, her married name became Harrison.¹

     Rt. Hon. George Evans was born in 1658.² He married Mary Eyre, daughter of Colonel Rt. Hon. John Eyre and Mary Bigoe, in 1679.³ He died in May 1720.⁴
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.⁵ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) after 1688.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Charleville, County Cork.³ He lived at Bulgaden Hall, County Limerick, Ireland^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Limerick.³
     He also had three other daughters.³

     George Evans, 1st Baron Carbery was born circa 1680.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Evans and Mary Eyre.^1,3 He married Anne Stafford, daughter of William Stafford, on 4 May 1703.³ He died on 28 August 1749 at Caharas, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for County Limerick between 1707 and 1713.³ He held the office of Governor of Limerick Castle on 12 November 1714.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1715.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westbury between 1715 and 1722.³ He was created 1st Baron Carbery, of Carbery, co. Cork [Ireland] on 9 May 1715, with special remainder to his father’s male issue.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westbury between 1724 and 1727.³
