     Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt. was baptised on 4 December 1691.2 He was the son of John Grey and unknown Pearson.2,3 He married Hannah Wood, daughter of Thomas Wood, on 19 April 1720.2 He died circa May 1749.2 He was buried on 6 May 1749 at Howick, Northumberland, EnglandG.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland in 1736.3 He was created 1st Baronet Grey, of Howick, co. Northumberland [Great Britain] on 11 January 1745/46.1,3
