     Agnes McLaren was born between 1838 and 1841.¹ She was the daughter of Duncan McLaren and Christina Gordon Renton.¹ She died on 18 April 1913.¹
     She lived at Montpelier, France^G.¹

     Priscilla Bright was born before 1832. She was the daughter of Jacob Bright.¹ She married Duncan McLaren, son of John McLaren and Catherine McLellan, on 6 July 1848.¹ She died on 5 November 1906.¹

     Jacob Bright was born in 1775 at Coventry, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of William Bright and Mary Goode.² He married Sophia Holmes.² He married Martha Wood on 21 July 1809.² He married Mary Metcalf in 1845.² He died on 7 July 1851.²
     He lived at Green Bank, Rochdale, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Rt. Hon. John Bright was born on 16 November 1811 at Greenbank, Rochdale, Lancashire, England.³ He was the son of Jacob Bright and Martha Wood.^1,3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Priestman, daughter of Jonathan Priestman, in November 1839.³ He married, secondly, Margaret Elizabeth Leatham, daughter of William Leatham, on 10 June 1847.³ He died on 27 March 1889 at age 77.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹
     He was a noted reformer and radical.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in 1873.³ He held the office of Lord Rector of Glasgow University in 1883.³

     Walter Stowe Bright McLaren was born on 17 April 1853.¹ He was the son of Duncan McLaren and Priscilla Bright.¹ He married Eva Muller, daughter of William Muller, on 18 April 1883.¹ He died on 29 June 1912 at age 59.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Crewe between 1886 and 1905.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Crewe between 1910 and 1912.¹

     Eva Muller was the daughter of William Muller.¹ She married Walter Stowe Bright McLaren, son of Duncan McLaren and Priscilla Bright, on 18 April 1883.¹ She died on 16 August 1921.¹

     William Muller lived at Hillside, Shenley, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Valparaiso, Chile^G.¹

     Helen Priscilla McLaren was born on 28 October 1851.¹ She was the daughter of Duncan McLaren and Priscilla Bright.¹ She married Andrea Carlo Francisco Rabagliati on 25 May 1877.¹ She died on 3 January 1934 at age 82.¹
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹
