     Thomasine Browne was the daughter of Sir Thomas Browne and Mary Apsley.1 She married Edmund Bourke, 4th Baron Bourke of Connell, son of Thomas Bourke and Honora O’Mulryan, before May 1620.1 She died in 1630.1
     After her marriage, Thomasine Browne was styled as Baroness Bourke of Connell before May 1620. From before May 1620, her married name became Bourke.1

     Margaret Thornton is the daughter of Sir George Thornton.1 She married, firstly, Donogh O’Brien.1 She married, secondly, Edmund Bourke, 4th Baron Bourke of Connell, son of Thomas Bourke and Honora O’Mulryan, after 1632.1
     Her married name became O’Brien.1 After her marriage, Margaret Thornton was styled as Baroness Bourke of Connell after 1632. From after 1632, her married name became Bourke.1 On 27 February 1660/61 she was restored to her lands.1

William Bourke, 5th Baron Bourke of Connell1

     William Bourke, 5th Baron Bourke of Connell was born in May 1623 at The Hospital, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Edmund Bourke, 4th Baron Bourke of Connell and Thomasine Browne.1 He married Ellen Roche, daughter of Maurice Roche, 8th Viscount Roche of Fermoy and Eleanor Power, after 1 April 1640.1 He died circa 1665.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Bourke of Connell, in Ireland [I., 1580] on 26 March 1638.1 He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 8 May 1638.1 He gained the rank of Commander in 1641 in the Munster Army.1 In 1643 he was outlawed, together with other Roman Catholic lords, for his share in the Munster Rebellion.1 On 3 April 1661 he was restored to his lands.1

     Maurice Roche, 8th Viscount Roche of Fermoy was the son of David Roche, 7th Viscount Roche of Fermoy and Joan Barry.2 He married Eleanor Power, daughter of John ‘Og’ Power and Hon. Helen Barry, circa 1625.3,4 He died in 1670.1
     He gained the title of 8th Viscount Roche of Fermoy. In March 1660/61 he had been reduced to ‘such extremitie of misery’ that he had to ‘implore releefe.3‘
