Isobel Caroline Irby was born on 4 May 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Greville Northey Irby, 7th Baron Boston and Constance Beryl Lester.¹ She married, firstly, Major Vernon Owain Roberts, son of Reverend Robert Owen Roberts, on 3 November 1946.¹ She and Major Vernon Owain Roberts were divorced in 1950.¹ She married, secondly, S/Ldr. Edward Horatio Sales, son of Joseph Edward Sales, in 1950.¹ She died on 23 March 2023 at age 105.²
     From 3 November 1946, her married name became Roberts.¹ From 1950, her married name became Sales.¹ She lived in 2003 at 18 Fourth Avenue, Hove, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Major Vernon Owain Roberts is the son of Reverend Robert Owen Roberts.¹ He married Hon. Isobel Caroline Irby, daughter of Greville Northey Irby, 7th Baron Boston and Constance Beryl Lester, on 3 November 1946.¹ He and Hon. Isobel Caroline Irby were divorced in 1950.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the East Kent Regiment.¹

     Reverend Robert Owen Roberts lived at Llantrisant Rectory, Anglesey, Wales^G.¹

     S/Ldr. Edward Horatio Sales was the son of Joseph Edward Sales.¹ He married Hon. Isobel Caroline Irby, daughter of Greville Northey Irby, 7th Baron Boston and Constance Beryl Lester, in 1950.¹ He died in 1988.¹

     Joseph Edward Sales lived at Chesney Hall, Madras, India^G.¹

     Christian Caroline Sales was born on 11 October 1950.¹ She is the daughter of S/Ldr. Edward Horatio Sales and Hon. Isobel Caroline Irby.¹ She married David Wyndham Hughes in 1973.¹
     From 1973, her married name became Hughes.¹ She lived in 2003 at 18 The Crescent, Barnes, London, England^G.¹

     David Wyndham Hughes married Christian Caroline Sales, daughter of S/Ldr. Edward Horatio Sales and Hon. Isobel Caroline Irby, in 1973.¹ He died in 1989.¹

     Alexander Wyndham Hughes was born in 1977.¹ He is the son of David Wyndham Hughes and Christian Caroline Sales.¹

     Ben Cressall Hughes was born in 1979.¹ He is the son of David Wyndham Hughes and Christian Caroline Sales.¹
