     Betty Shaw was the daughter of John Shaw.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Stanley, son of Thomas Stanley and Catherine Parker.¹ She died on 4 December 1780.¹
     Her married name became Stanley.¹

     James Stanley was born on 26 December 1750.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Stanley and Betty Shaw.¹ He married Augusta Cornwall, daughter of John Cornwall, in May 1786.¹ He died on 28 September 1810 at age 59.¹
